Maybe I'm vain but I like to see my thoughts in black and white. To make sure that they are my thoughts and that I did think about something. For the last 15 years, I have been ambivalent with my feelings regarding the holidays. I like the idea of shopping for presents but at the same time, when all is said and done, it's just another day. Up until three years ago, I have scheduled myself to work around this time. This year, due to a vacation time snafu, I am forced to stay home (although I will be at work). Lech!
