These are paintings that are currently on display at one of our favorite hangouts here in San Francisco, Baghdad Cafe in the Castro. The paintings are of Madonna superimposed on famous brand names/logos. The artist must have felt that Madonna's various "reinventions" can be used by these companies as 'advertising'. Like Madonna would wear Wrangler jeans...
