In Celebration of Best Friends

Yves and Macky met at grade school at Don Bosco. They went to high school together in La Salle Greenhills. They seperated when Yves chose to go to De La Salle University while Macky opted to go to Ateneo. But in all those times, they never really were apart. Even now that Yves has migrated to the States, they still manage to keep their friendship going.

What becomes a best friend? Are you only allowed to have one in your life? I hope not. There are a lot of people out there who are worth being called "best friend". Life changes as we go along but the one thing that should be constant are the people that we surround ourselves. There are friends that we have and those who come and go in our lives. And then there are the select few, that regardless of time and distance, will always be in our hearts.
