My Newest Bestest Friend!

For some reason, Erwin and I have bonded. Maybe it's because I can understand what he's going through. Erwin is this sweet, inspiring, lovable soul that you can't help but like and wish him happiness. He's like this really cute puppy in the pet store that you just got to have and take home. Not that Erwin is a dog or resembles one! Erwin is also the guy that I'd be proud to introduce to my family as my friend.

I don't make friends that easy. Maybe it's because I set my expectations too high. Maybe not a lot of people even try to meet those "standards". Maybe I'm just picky.

Friends are those you believe will stay with you through the good and bad times. Friends are those you believe are extensions of you. Someone once told me that my friends are a reflection of who I am. To some extent, she may be right.

Erwin may be the person I wish I was when I was his age: unassuming, quiet, definitely not just a face in the crowd; someone who is also passionate and true to himself. I just hope that I can be a really good friend to him, too.
