I Heart San Francisco!

The Golden Gate Bridge (aka Golden Gay Bridge)
- The Bay Bridge (which connects the City to the eastern part of the SF Bay Area) was closed the entire Labor Day Weekend! It was the best thing that has happened to the City lately. NO FUCKING TOURIST DRIVERS! I hate it when drivers from the suburbia come to the city on weekends in their SUVs thinking that they can drive around without getting lost and parking in slots clearly marked "compact vehicles only". What a bunch of morons!!! Hahaha!!! They were all forced to take the BART and the city was clear and clean for everyone to enjoy that weekend...
- Was at the Richmond area (mostly Chinese) at my bank when I noticed a gaggle of high school students (obvious in their uniforms) in line at a fastfood place. So I looked...$3.29 for a combination lunch: two entrees and rice plus 50 cents for soda (if you're a student). I had to smile at the sight...where else can you find people who can't get enough of their rice that they have to have it for lunch, too, even when they're in school? Damn all that carb! Only in San Francisco!
- While the east coast is being pounded with shitty weather, the City has remained relatively calm and enjoying some late summer warmth. It is a little chillier in the evenings and early mornings but I'll take this weather over any other part of the country's for now. The only problem is how to dress appropriately: some parts of the City are warm enough for short sleeve T's while other parts require thermals. Oh well, go figure.
- Speaking of weather, the shops are beginning to stock fall and early winter clothes. They don't know what to do either: a lot of stores still carry shorts and flipflops and are slowly changing their displays but trying not to alarm tourists who think the City is still a warm place to visit at this time. Well, yes...that is, if you're visiting from Podunk, Nowhere. It will always be a "warm" place to visit!
- School's back...it's harder to find parking behind San Francisco State U! Hehehe. And, oh...the freshMEN...hellllooooooo!!!
- So there...i love the City...Can't wait for the Folsom Street Fair!
